Performances

                                                         FALL SEMESTER STARTS AUGUST 19TH 
    We continue to accept students the entire school year, regardless of participation in Recital or not.

Performance 1

Classes are offered in :

Creative Dance,

Pre-Ballet-Tap Combo,

Kids Jazz, Acro-Kids

Flamenco kids.

All performance classes are intended for our younger dancers ages 18 months to 3 = creative dance.

3-4: Ballet and tap (combo), jazz, flamenco and acrobatics are optional.

Performance 2

Allegro Ballet implements mandatory classical ballet classes from ages 3 through 18 for all students.

All dancers follow the graded syllabus of Sonshine Christian Ballet (SCB) and undergo examinations from our evaluators from Excelsior Ballet in Houston TX.

This evaluation is required for certification and advancement of each levels.

Recreational dancers may join our program and it is not required for them to test.

Students start with exams at age 6:

Primary level, Grade 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 being the last of all student levels.

Jazz, Tap, Flamenco and Folklorico students are assigned level by age and ability to the teachers recommendation and Director approval.

Performance 3

Students in the higher levels of the SCB have many performance opportunities. One way of exploring their desire to continue dance as carear is through our Competitive Comapny.

We strongly encourgage our dancers to be trained all around dancers, the more versatil they are the more opportunities for them.

We also encourage our Senior Dancers to become Certified Members of Dance Educators of America. Allegro Ballet has been an advocate for Excellence in Dance Education in our community for many generations.
